"As a professional athlete “talk is cheap” but the talk’s Maria and I had were priceless. Within one meeting she truly helped me find myself on the court again. A feeling that was rare to me in my 4 seasons as a professional. She taught me what it really means to believe in yourself and how powerful it is. That self-belief is not reserved for a chosen few but that it is in all of us if we work hard enough to harness it. But like I said “talk is cheap” so you don’t have to take my word for it, just look at the numbers. We met for the first time on June 20th, 2 days before the start of the playoffs. I went from averaging 10.5 ppg in the regular season to 20 ppg in the playoffs and followed it up by signing the most lucrative deal for a Lebanese player in Japan. Some people call it magic, I call it Maria!."
